In the production of BOPP aluminum plated film, the stretching degree should reach the "inherent stretching multiple", which means that the product of the longitudinal stretching ratio and the transverse stretching ratio of the film should reach about 40. If the longitudinal stretching ratio is insufficient, many thick stripes will appear in the transverse direction of the stretched film; If the horizontal stretching ratio is insufficient, thick stripes will appear on both sides.

After longitudinal stretching, the polymer chains are oriented in the longitudinal uniaxial direction, greatly improving the longitudinal mechanical properties of the cast sheet, while the transverse properties decrease.
